Abstract
Stable and consistent stirring is one of the key factors in producing high-quality liquid organic fertilizer. In this study, a speed control system for a DC motor was designed and developed using the Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) method, implemented on an Arduino microcontroller. The system regulates the stirring motor speed according to a predetermined setpoint, both under no-load conditions
and with loads consisting of water and organic materials. The design process includes component selection, circuit assembly, Arduino programming, and testing to obtain optimal PID parameters through the trial and error method. The test
results show that the PID control can maintain the DC motor speed at a stable level with minimal error, even when load changes occur. The implementation of this system is expected to improve the efficiency of the stirring process andenhance the quality of the resulting liquid organic fertilizer.
