RANCANG BANGUN SISTEM APLIKASI ABSENSI SISWA DAN GURU DI MADRASAH ALIYAH (MA) SELAT BARU BERBASIS WEBSITE

A website is an information system site page that can be accessed quickly as a medium for managing data and information of an institution. The attendance system at the Selat Baru Islamic Senior High School (MA) is currently still done manually, making it less efficient in recording student attendance and data processing. The delivery of attendance information still uses manual methods, which risks causing recording errors and delays in submitting reports. Based on these problems, the design and development of a website-based Student and Teacher Attendance Application System at the Selat Baru Islamic Senior High School (MA) was carried out. This system is designed to display complete information, starting from student attendance data, teacher attendance data, to reports that can be accessed by related parties such as students and teachers. There are several user roles in this system, namely students as users who take attendance, admins as data and information managers, and teachers and homeroom teachers who can monitor student attendance through the system. One of the innovative features implemented in this system is the use of QR codes, which allow students to take attendance easily by simply scanning the code, while teachers will take attendance in and out and will take attendance using the student's QR code according to the lesson schedule. This system was built using the PHP programming language and MySQL as a database to ensure data management and usability when inputting data. With this system, it is hoped that the process of recording student and teacher attendance will be even better than before.
