Abstract
This study aims to analyze the structural capacity of the existing steel truss bridge at Sungai Kembung Luar, Bantan District, using load criteria in accordance with SNI 1725:2016 and the applicable road class. BJ-55 steel material with a yield strength of 460 MPa was used in the modeling process with MIDAS Civil software, applying the Load and Resistance Factor Design (LRFD) method. The loads analyzed include dead load, live load, wind load, and seismic load, which were then combined to evaluate the serviceability limit state. The analysis results show that the bridge is unable to withstand the service load combinations due to deflections exceeding the maximum allowable limit (≥ 75 mm). This indicates that structural rehabilitation and further material testing are required to ensure the bridge meets structural feasibility requirements. This research is expected to serve as a reference for the maintenance planning and redesign of existing steel truss bridges to meet safety standards.
