Abstract
Electric vehicles represent a significant innovation in the transportation sector, offering an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil fuel-powered vehicles. The development of electric cars has become increasingly important due to rising fuel prices, limited natural resources, and growing global concern for sustainable development. In this context, the electrical system is a vital component that supports the performance and safety of electric vehicles. However, at the Internal Combustion Engine Workshop of Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis, limited facilities and the absence of a wiring diagram have become major obstacles in the assembly and maintenance process of electric vehicles, particularly for the Laksamana 2 electric car. This research aims to design and implement a wiring diagram as a learning tool in the electrical systems course. The results of this study are expected to facilitate maintenance and modification processes, serve as a technical reference for the Indonesian Electric Vehicle Competition (KMLI), and enhance students' understanding of electric vehicle electrical systems.
