Abstract
The paper shredding and pulp processing machine. The paper recycling process requires an efficient initial stage,namely paper shredding and pulp processing. However, many existing paper shredding machines still operate manually and lack effective monitoring systems. This study aims to design and
implement a microcontroller-based monitoring system using Arduino Uno to monitor the operational status of a paper shredding and pulp processing machine in real�time. The system is equipped with various sensors, including a temperature sensor
(Thermocouple), current and voltage sensor (PZEM-004T), motor speed sensor
(Rotary Encoder), and water level sensor (float switch). The monitored data is
displayed on an LCD screen for easy access by the operator. Test results show that
the system can detect parameter changes such as voltage, current, power,
temperature, and motor speed with relatively low errorrates. Additionally, the system
provides early warnings for abnormal conditions such as overcurrent or excessive
temperature. Thus, this monitoring system improves operational efficiency,
workplace safety, and extends the service life of
