Abstract
The reliability of the electricity distribution system is a key factor in maintaining the continuity of electricity service to customers. One indicator used to measure this level of reliability is the System Average Interruption Frequency Index (SAIFI), an index that shows the average frequency of power outages experienced by customers within a certain time period. This study aims to analyze the SAIFI value at the Tegal feeder managed by PLN ULP Bengkalis, in order to determine the level of reliability of the electricity distribution system in the area. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach, by collecting disruption data from PLN's operational reports for one year. The data includes the number of outages and the total number of customers served. Based on the analysis results, it was found that the SAIFI value at the Tegal feeder fluctuated and at some points exceeded the standard limits set by PLN. The analysis results show that only Rc Bangkinang meets the SAIFI target with a value of 0.16, indicating a very reliable system, Jur Pambang and Jur Jangkang have SAIFI values of 5.92 and 9.22 respectively, which means the level of electrical disturbances is still relatively high, Rc Bundaran recorded the highest SAIFI value of 58.48, indicating a very unreliable distribution system and needs immediate repair. Overall, only one of the four feeders meets the SAIFI standards of PLN and SPLN, so a comprehensive evaluation of the distribution system in the Tegal Feeder area is needed.
