Abstract
Technological developments in the field of automation encourage the emergence of solutions to improve the efficiency of the goods transportation process, especially in the industrial and logistics sectors. This study aims to design and build a goods transport robot controlled using a joystick as the main control device. This system consists of an Arduino Uno as a central control, a PG36 DC motor as a driver, and a BTS7960 motor driver to control the direction and speed of the motor. Control is carried out through input signals from the joystick sent wirelessly to the Arduino. This robot prototype is capable of carrying loads up to 20 Kg with an effective control distance of up to 10 M. Tests show that the robot can move according to commands given by the joystick such as forward, backward, turn right, and turn left with a response time of 0,05-0,12 seconds. The results of the load capacity test show that the optimal load ranges from 5-15 Kg with a speed of 0,35-0,18 M/S.
