Abstract

Bricks are one of the vital building material components. Along with the rapid development of infrastructure such as shophouses, hotels, residences and other buildings, the number of bricks needed has also increased. That's why this automatic brick cutter was created so that the stone cutting process bricks are faster. The tool for this brick cutter consists of a compressor as a wind source, a proximity sensor to detect the ground when the ground is moving with a conveyor, an Arduino Uno, a 12v power supply, a 5v relay as a program to run the tool, a pneumatic cylinder actuator, and a 12v solenoid. to open and close the air coming out of the compressor. This process has been carried out so that the amount obtained from this automatic brick cutter reaches 300 pcs/hour. With this automatic brick cutting machine, it makes it faster and easier for people to earn a living.
