This research aims to develop an Android-based application for buying and selling used goods for users in Bengkalis by implementing the MVVM Architecture and the Prototype method. The application is equipped with features such as item search, product addition, item details, real-time chat, and profile management. Development follows the five stages of Prototype and produces a stable, responsive system that meets user needs, especially those of Generation Z. The application of MVVM enables the effective separation of business logic, data, and display, thereby improving code readability, ease of maintenance, and user experience.
