Abstract

The final project focuses on increasing the intellectual abilities of elementary school students through the Ranking 1 Competition, which was held as part of the Polbeng Business Expo Chapter Two. At the same time, the project applies financial management practices in the process of organizing the event. The competition took the form of a quiz that tested students’ knowledge in various subjects such as mathematics, Indonesian, English, social studies, and natural sciences. It was aimed at students from several elementary schools on Bengkalis Island. Besides encouraging academic improvement, the activity was combined with an MSMEs exhibition to create an interactive learning and business environment that connected students, schools, communities, and local entrepreneurs. The project was carried out through three main stages: preparation, implementation, and completion. The financial management aspect involved determining and obtaining funding sources, preparing a clear budget, procuring equipment, and compiling financial reports, including the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow report. The total revenue for the competition reached Rp 6.034.000, which was covered through registration fees and sponsorships. By applying structured financial planning, all financial activities were well controlled and reported transparently. The event showed that careful financial management can support smooth implementation while providing students with a motivating and enjoyable learning experience. This project can serve as an example of how educational events can be managed efficiently and accountably.
