Analisis Pengaruh Sistem Absensi Digital Terhadap Kinerja Pegawai Politeknik Negeri Bengkalis

Advances in information technology have encouraged various institutions, including universities, to implement digital attendance systems to improve the effectiveness of employee attendance management. Digital attendance systems enable automatic, accurate, secure, and efficient attendance recording, which is expected to improve employee discipline and performance. This study aims to analyze the effect of the Digital Attendance System on Employee Performance at Bengkalis State Polytechnic.The study used a quantitative method with an associative approach. The study population was Bengkalis State Polytechnic employees, with a sample of 76 respondents determined using probability sampling techniques. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression with SPSS version 26. The results showed that the Digital Attendance System had a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance at Bengkalis State Polytechnic. This is evidenced by the t-value of 3.724 with a significance level of 0.000 <0.05, thus accepting the research hypothesis. The coefficient of determination (R²) value of 0.158 shows that the Digital Attendance System has an influence of 15.8% on Employee Performance, while 84.2% is influenced by other factors outside the research.
