Optimalisasi Akurasi Jadwal Sandar Kapal Ro-Ro terhadap Ketepatan Waktu Pelayanan Penyeberangan pada Hari Besar Nasional di Pelabuhan Ro-Ro Air Putih Bengkalis

Ferry terminals play a crucial role in supporting public mobility and the inter-regional distribution of vehicles; consequently, service punctuality is a key indicator of operational performance. This study aims to analyze the factors contributing to inaccuracies in Ro-Ro vessel berthing times, their impact on ferry service punctuality, and potential measures to improve berthing time accuracy at the Air Putih Ro-Ro Port in Bengkalis. A qualitative descriptive method was employed, utilizing data collection techniques such as observation, interviews, and document review. The findings indicate that inaccuracies in vessel berthing times are influenced by surges in passenger and vehicle volumes during national holidays, the duration of vehicle loading and unloading processes, variations in vessel capacity and engine performance, and limitations in port operational facilities. These conditions result in delayed vessel departures, increased waiting times, and reduced punctuality of ferry crossings. Measures to address this include optimizing operational scheduling, accelerating vehicle loading and unloading processes, enhancing coordination between port management and vessel operators, and utilizing information technology to ensure efficiency and timeliness. Implementing these measures is expected to improve the accuracy of vessel docking times, thereby optimizing the quality of ferry services during national holidays at the Air Putih Ro-Ro Port in Bengkalis.
