Penerapan PTOS-M (Pelindo Terminal Operating System Multi Purpose) Guna Meningkatkan Produktivitas Bongkar Muat Kargo di PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Sri Payung Batu Enam

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Pelindo Terminal Operating System Multi Purpose (PTOS-M) in supporting cargo loading and unloading operations and to examine its contribution to improving cargo handling productivity at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Sri Payung Batu Enam Tanjung Pinang. PTOS-M is an information technology-based system designed to integrate all terminal operational activities, including planning, execution, and reporting of cargo handling processes. The implementation of this system is part of the digital transformation in the port sector to enhance operational effectiveness, efficiency, and service accuracy.This research employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data were collected through direct observation, interviews with personnel involved in terminal operations, and documentation of cargo handling activities and the implementation of the PTOS-M system.The results indicate that the implementation of PTOS-M has improved the efficiency of cargo loading and unloading operations by enabling real-time operational data management, enhancing coordination among operational units, and reducing administrative errors. Furthermore, the system facilitates better monitoring of operational activities, resulting in faster and more measurable service performance. Therefore, the implementation of PTOS-M contributes to improving cargo handling productivity at PT Pelindo Multi Terminal Branch Sri Payung Batu Enam Tanjung Pinang, although several technical challenges still require further improvement
