Aplikasi Monitoring Kehadiran Akademik Siswa Teintegrasi Orang Tua dalam Proses Pendidikan Anak Di SMPN 3 Siak Kecil Berbasis Web

This research was motivated by the fact that student attendance recording at SMPN 3 Siak Kecil was still performed manually, a process that was time-consuming, prone to recording errors, and lacked transparency for parents regarding student attendance. The study aimed to develop a web-based application for monitoring student academic attendance that integrates parents into the educational process at SMPN 3 Siak Kecil. The Waterfall methodology was employed, encompassing the stages of analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The application provides features for academic data management, student attendance tracking, attendance summarization, monitoring, and automated WhatsApp notifications for parents. The results indicate that the application was successfully implemented in accordance with user requirements. Black Box testing confirmed that all key features functioned as intended. The application improves student attendance management, accelerates data summarization, reduces recording errors, and enhances real-time transparency regarding student attendance information between the school and parents.
