Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of work motivation and work ability on employee performance at Bank Syariah Indonesia Duri Hangtuah 1 Branch Office. This study uses a quantitative approach and uses primary data. The population in this study was 18 respondents with a sampling technique using saturated sampling with Likert scale measurements. Data processing techniques using the SPSS 26 program. The data analysis used in this study consists of validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, multicollinearity tests, heteroscedasticity tests, t tests, f tests and determination coefficient tests.. The results of the study show that the hypothesis test which produces a calculated f value of 14.939 > 3.63 f table has a significance of 0.00 < 0.05, there is a simultaneous influence of work motivation X1 and work ability X2 on employee performance Y. From the statistical results of the t-test, it shows that the motivation variable X1 on performance Y is a sig value of 0.793 > 0.05 and t count -0.268 < 2.131 has no effect or is rejected. While the ability variable X2 on performance Y is a significant value of 0.00 < 0.05 and t count 4.658 > 2.131 t table so between the ability variable X2 and performance Y there is an effect or is accepted.
