Abstract

This research aims to describe container repair activities and determine the obstacles that occur in the process of container repair activities as well as determine the damage to the quality of goods caused by improper container repairs. The location of this research is at PT Prima Indonesia Logistik which was carried out from April to July 2024 using descriptive qualitative research methods and using data collection methods through observation, interviews and documentation at PT Prima Indonesia Logistik. The research results show that the repair container handling process minimizes cargo damage during the export process by PT. Prima Indonesia Logistics is running well. Obstacles that occur during container repairing activities include inputting data from surveyors that takes quite a long time, delays in container documents, flooding in the field, and damage to the quality of goods caused by inadequate repair of containers, namely, torn and wet, rotting, The load melts due to contamination with hot temperatures.
