Abstract

Public street lighting is a lamp that illuminates public roads as a place of traffic for motorcyclists, cars and pedestrians. To get optimal lighting in accordance with applicable references, periodic maintenance is necessary. Including repairs if there is damage. In carrying out these improvements. This system is an effective method for monitoring large area lighting systems from remote areas without visiting the location. This street light damage monitoring tool is equipped with Arduino as the brain of this tool system, the SCT 013 current sensor for reading the current value during operation. And the RF433MHz module is sending data to the receiver. This tool is designed to detect damage to public street lights by current sensors. The prototype of this tool is based on visual basic, namely the data on the condition of the lights on the road will be sent to the receiver via the RF 433MHz transmitter module to be displayed on a PC with visual basic software. After being tested twice, this system proved to be effective in detecting street light damage and automatically displaying colors as a symbol of the lighting conditions in the field, with a 100% success rate. that is, the yellow indicates that the lamp is normal (on ), black indicates that the lamp is off during the day, and the red indicates that the lamp is off at night.
