Abstract
The difficulty of employment causes a lot of theft and other criminal acts. One other crime that often occurs at this time is theft in the house. To minimize the possibility of theft in the house, a home security system was made that combines a microcontroller with an Android smartphone, the microcontroller used in the esp-8266 which is equipped with a relay. Esp-8266 will operate the motor to open the gate. When the motor does not work, the gate will not open because the gate is equipped with a Gearbox and can only be accessed using a smartphone. With this home gate system, it is possible to add a sense of security to the house and reduce crime.
