Abstract
Air Putih Bengkalis RoRo Port is one of the RoRo ports in Bengkalis Regency, Riau Province, Indonesia. This port experienced problems in its operation. Some of the problems encountered include limited vehicle parking space, limited passenger waiting rooms, limited sanitation facilities, and a shortage of other facilities needed to improve port operational performance. This study aims to analyze the conditions and problems of land facilities at RoRo Air Putih Bengkalis port and to design an appropriate and effective facility improvement plan. The method used is Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 62 of 2019 concerning Minimum Service Standards (SPM) for Crossing Transportation and Minister of Transportation Regulation No. 52 of 2004. Based on the results of the analysis, it takes about 230 m² for an ideal waiting room now from the existing conditions which do not exist at all, for a canteen room it takes 34.5 m², an administration room requires 34.5 m2, a utility room requires 78.44 m² and a public space is 37.44 m² with a total area of 411 m². Likewise, the pedestrian vehicle parking area is 153 m² for ideal conditions from the existing conditions which is 2520 m².
