Abstract

This study aims to determine the acceptance and contribution of the Port Service Retribution as well as the obstacles or obstacles and efforts to increase the acceptance of the Port Service Retribution. The type of data used in this research is quantitative data. The research data was obtained from BAPENDA Bengkalis Regency. The results of the study indicate that the Bengkalis Regency Port Service Retribution Receipt has fluctuated in the last 5 (five) years. The contribution of Port Service Retribution is an average of 73.32% per year classified as very good criteria. Obstacles in increasing the acceptance of Port Service Retribution include the absence of supervision on the entry and exit of passengers/delivery and persons who do not have tickets, a manual crossing ticket purchasing system and the existence of Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB). Efforts to increase Port Service Charges include increasing supervision in collecting user fees in the field, implementing an electrical system, providing noncash ticket service facilities, real time and complying with health protocols according to government regulations by monitoring port conditions using Closed Circuit Television (CCTv) and 24-hour Roro Crossing Services. during the Covid- 19 pandemic.
