Abstract

This study aims to analyze how leadership style, employee performance and also the influence of leadership style on employee performance of PT. Wilmar Nabati Pelintung Dumai Section (EHS). The type of research used in this study is associative research. The population of PT. Wilmar Nabati Dumai Pelintung Section (EHS) is 43 respondents, and taken entirely. Data collection was taken in the form of a questionnaire with a saturated sample selection method and analyzed using data instrument tests, classical assumption tests (normality, and heteroscedasticity and linearity), simple correlation tests, simple linear regression tests, and hypotheses. The test results show that the magnitude of R Square or coefficient of determination is 34.2 or equal to 34.2%. This means that leadership style affects employee performance by 34.2 while the remaining 65.8 is influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
