Abstract

This researchs is related to the analysis of the implementation of tugboat inspections to meet SOPs at PT Pelindo Marine Service (PMS) Branch of Dumai. The purpose of the research is to find out the implementation of tugboat inspections, the obstacles that occur, and efforts to overcome obstacles during ship inspections. This research was carried out from March to August 2024 and the place where this research was carried out was at PT Pelindo Marine Service Branch of Dumai. Data collection was carried out by literature study, direct observation (observation), documentation and interviews. The results of the study show that the implementation of tugboat inspections is an internal activity carried out by PT Pelindo Marine Service (PMS) Branch of Dumai with the aim of monitoring the condition of tugboats every month.
