Abstract
The process of designing an application requires thinking that is not aesy. Application product design activities are related to the design results the will be used by ysers. This is calles design thinking. By using a user-centered approach, the process of creating new innovative ideas in this research is proposed to solve problems in the development of new application products. This is called design thinking. The design thinking method is an innovation-based software product designt method, which relies on finding solutions to solve certain problems. Problem solving methods that have not been clearly defined are implemented by understanding the needs of users who will participate in using the application, gathering lots of ideas and taking a direct approach through prototypes and direct testing. Music playe applications that are currently developing in the community still do not provide what they want. Judging from the results of the questionnaire distribution, 66 % of 44 respondents stated that they were not comfortable with the features available in the music player application they were currently using. This is obtained based on the results of the application of the design thinking method. From the results of implementing this design thinking, it was found that 57% of users wanted the music search feature using voice. Therefore, the researchers made a music player application that has a search feature using voice. The test results on the prototype design produced already meet usability standards. This is done iterations of testing to get the final result of 85.22% of the performance value, which means that it is included in the excellent or feasible category and can be used.
