Abstract

Roads are the main means of transportation to reach a destination from one place to another for human life, especially for the people of East Bantan - West Muntai. The existing condition of Jalan Jenderal Sudirman, Bantan Timur Village - Muntai Barat is in the form of rigid pavement with a width of 4 meters, with road shoulders and drainage that are still in the form of soil. Some of the General Sudirman roads have already been backfilled using class B aggregates. Some of the rigid pavements on Jalan Jenderal Sudirman are already damaged and have holes. Then for the roads that have been buried, the conditions now have holes in them so that they are flooded when it rains. With the current inadequate road conditions, it makes it difficult for the community to take this road. The factors causing the damage to Jalan Jenderal Sudirman could be due to a large cargo truck or it could be due to the carrying capacity of the soil.In the planning of road pavement development in Bengkalis Regency, the Pd T-14-2003 method is still often used than other methods. While there is already a new method, namely the Revised Road Pavement Design Manual Method for September 2017. Therefore, the author will review and design Jalan Jenderal Sudirman by comparing the Pd T-14-2003 method with the September 2017 Revised Pavement Design Manual method. The purpose of making this comparison so that you can find out the results of the thickness of the pavement and the budget plan to be issued. After the calculation of rigid pavement thickness is obtained from the Revised Road Pavement Design Manual method of September 2017 and the Pd T-14-2003 method, it will be known that the thickness of rigid pavement for the Revised Road Pavement Design Manual September 2017 is 200 mm and Pd T-14-2003 is 190 mm. And the results of the total budget plan for the Revised Road Pavement Design Manual September 2017 2017 Rp. 20,721,850,000 and Pd T-14-2003 the total planned budget of Rp. Rp. 24,547,200,000
