Abstract
The Polbeng Business Expo, hosted by State Polytechnic of Bengkalis, featured various competitions, notably the Spelling Bee Competition for Elementary and Junior High School students. This paper focuses on the financial management aspects of organizing this educational event. The project implementation followed a structured approach encompassing preparation, implementation, accomplishment, and completion phases, with particular emphasis on budget allocation and financial oversight. The preparation phase involved strategic sponsorship acquisition and resource allocation for engaging qualified judges and speakers in English spelling expertize. Financial management played a crucial role in the execution phase, including detailed budget tracking, cost control measures, and transparent fund allocation across various operational needs. The event, held on October 30-31, 2024, at GKT and IT. Successfully managed resources for 11 committee members, two judges, one speaker, and 115 participants. The financial framework implemented included systematic sponsor fund management, efficient resource allocation, and careful monitoring of operational expenses. This structured financial approach significantly contributed to the event's success, demonstrating the importance of robust financial management in organizing educational competitions.
