Perancangan Sistem Informasi Ensiklopedia Suku Batak Berbasis Website

The website-based Encyclopedia of Batak Tribes is designed to preserve and disseminate Batak culture to the younger generation and the wider community. This research aims to develop a web-based information system that becomes a digital archive, cultural learning tool, and academic reference. Using the Waterfall method, the system was developed using the Laravel framework and equipped with features such as article validation by traditional leaders, discussion forums, and article search by category. The system involves various users, including admins, article writers, traditional leaders, and users. Test results show the system is effective in providing interactive and structured access to information. Thus, this research contributes to the preservation of Batak culture and the strengthening of cultural identity in the digital era.
