Tinjauan Penerapan Keselamatan Dan Kesehatan Terhadap Tenaga Kerja Muat Batubara Di Pelabuhan Pltu Ketapang

The problem raised in this Final Project is related to the lack of self-awareness in the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) by the Loading and Unloading Workers (TKBM) at the Ketapang PLTU Port, as well as the minimal supervision regarding the use of PPE. The main objective of this study is to maximize the role of the company in implementing occupational safety and health for coal loading workers at the Ketapang PLTU Port. The research method includes observation, interviews, and documentation to obtain accurate and relevant data. Data analysis was conducted descriptively qualitatively. The results of the study indicate that awareness of the use of PPE among TKBM is still low, caused by the lack of socialization and supervision from the company. In addition, it was also found that the implementation of K3 standards by PT Tonicogita Ekamarindo is in accordance with the law, but compliance in the field still needs to be improved. The recommendation of this study is to increase supervision and provide regular training on the importance of the use of PPE to minimize the risk of work accidents.
