Aplikasi Pengelolaan Informasi Publik Untuk Desa di Kabupaten Bengkalis Berbasis Website

The Web-Based Public Information Management Application for Villages in Bengkalis Regency was developed to address issues in village news management, which were previously carried out manually and lacked integration. Using the Waterfall method, this research went through several stages, including problem identification, data collection through interviews and documentation, system analysis, design using use case diagrams, ERD, and interface mockups, followed by application development and testing. The system, built with the Laravel framework, has three user roles: DPMD Admin, Village Admin, and Public Users, with main features including news management, comments, ratings, and account management. Black box testing, device testing, and cross-browser testing showed that all features function well across various devices and browsers, making the application effective in facilitating village information publication, improving transparency, and encouraging public participation in village development.
