Abstract
A Distributed Control System (DCS) is a distributed control system that functions to monitor, control, and optimize industrial processes in an integrated manner. In the Multifuel Boiler (MB)-24 area, the DCS serves as a control center capable of monitoring operational parameters such as pressure, temperature, flow, and fuel combustion in real time. This system is designed to ontrol the combustion process using various types of fuels (multifuel)efficiently, stably, and safely. The implementation of the DCS in MB-24 facilitates monitoring because all field instruments are directly connected to the control room. Additionally,
operators can analyze data, detect disruptions, and make quick decisions based on the information displayed. This distributed system optimizes the combustion process in the boiler, increasing energy efficiency and minimizingpotential
disruptions that could hamper production.
