Abstract

Currently, composite materials are alternative materials for metal replacement, therefore new breakthroughs are expected to be a way out for the continuous supply of raw materials in the shipping industry. The author's purpose of doing research is to determine the tensile strength of plywood composite materials based on the orientation of the fiber based on the epoxy matrix. The method used is in accordance with the ASTM D638 type 4 standard, while the reference to the qualit with an average tensile stress of 54.739 N/mm².
