Abstract
Decision Support System (DSS) is a system that aims to support managerial decision makers in semi-structured decision situations. Every company has a standard of assessment factors for the performance of their employees, sometimes companies have difficulty in assessing the performance of their employees because the assessment system is not all computerized, causing the assessment time to be quite long, and there is a tendency for biased assessments if the appraiser and the appraiser are personally. Thus, some employees feel dissatisfied with the appraisal system. Therefore we need an assessment decision support system with calculations based on company assessment factors which are later expected to be a helper in making decisions to increase employee levels and also the placement of company leadership positions, using the Certainty Factor in making an assessment decision support system. The test methods used in the system built are unit testing, acceptance testing, and black box testing. The results of the decision support system for evaluating employee performance at PT Whello using the divorce factor method can help the Leaders and HRD in supporting employee performance appraisal decisions and the system made is faster to complete because it uses the Extreme Programming method.
