Penerapan Extreme Programming pada Pengembangan Point of Sale Menggunakan Payment Gateway

With the advancement of information technology and business innovation, the need for efficient and integrated systems has become increasingly important, especially in the healthy food industry like Bos Salad. Currently, Bos Salad utilizes social media and some manual record-keeping such as member and member point, which reduces business efficiency. Therefore, a Point of Sale (POS) system integrated with online ordering and the Midtrans payment gateway was developed. The method used is Extreme Programming (XP), which is flexible, fast, and responsive to changing requirements. The development process includes creating user stories, simple design, pair programming, refactoring, and testing. The resulting POS application features are tailored to the needs and integrated with the payment gateway. Results from unit testing and user acceptance testing show that the system works well and meets requirements. The application of XP proved to support a faster, flexible, and responsive development process.
