Analisis Dampak Pembangunan Minimarket Terhadap Kinerja Lalu Lintas Pada Jaringan Jalan (Studi Kasus Di Jalan Pramuka, Kabupaten Bengkalis)

The construction of a minimarket on Jalan Pramuka, Bengkalis Regency, has the potential to significantly impact traffic performance in the surrounding area. This study aims to examine the impact of minimarket operations on road capacity and traffic service levels.The methods used in this study included traffic surveys, road geometric measurements, and capacity analysis using the Indonesian Road Capacity Guidelines (PKJI 2023) and the Indonesian Road Capacity Manual (MKJI 1997). The results indicate that the construction of a minimarket increases traffic volume, particularly during the morning and evening rush hours. These impacts include an increase in the degree of saturation (ds), a decrease in average vehicle speed, and the possibility of vehicle queues around the minimarket.
Based on the analysis, traffic management strategies are needed, such as regulating entry and exit points for the minimarket, widening the road, or installing traffic signs to mitigate negative impacts on the road network. This research is expected to provide considerations for relevant parties in planning and managing traffic around the minimarket area to ensure optimal traffic flow and prevent disruption to public mobility.
