Pelayanan PT.Ekspedisi Muatan Kapal Laut (EMKL) Putra Pulau Tebing Tinggi Dalam Pengiriman Barang Dari Dermaga Sampai Ke Penerima Barang

PT. EMKL Putra Pulau Tebing Tinggi located on Jl. Pelabuhan 01 Beran, Kec. Tebing Tinggi, Kepulauan Meranti Regency, Riau-Indonesia in collaboration with PT Pelindo Selatpanjang. The problems and objectives of this study are to determine the services of PT. EMKL Putra Pulau Tebing Tinggi in shipping goods from the dock to the recipient of the goods, to determine the stages of preparation for shipping goods from the dock to the recipient of the goods by PT Ekspedisi Muatan Kapal Laut (EMKL) Putra Pulau Tebing Tinggi, to determine the obstacles that occur at PT Ekspedisi Muatan Kapal Laut (EMKL) Putra Pulau Tebing Tinggi in the process of shipping goods from the dock to the recipient of the goods. This study uses data collection techniques through direct observation and interviews with the company, and data analysis techniques using descriptive qualitative methods. The services provided by PT. EMKL are the provision of labor, and shipping goods from the dock to the owner of the goods. The stages of preparation for shipping goods by PT EMKL include receiving shipping documents, inspecting goods at the dock, unloading and arranging goods, scheduling shipments, delivering them to the recipient, and documenting and reporting. The obstacles encountered include human error, transport vehicles and labor, and natural factors.
