Penanganan Muatan Palm Kernel Expeller (PKE) MV. Vianca di Pelabuhan Dumai

PT Pelayaran Cahya Papua is one of the agency service companies that agents ships that transport palm oil derivative products such as CPO (crude palm oil) and PKE (Palm Kernel Expeller). The problems and objectives of this study are to determine the handling of PKE loading on MV. Vianca at Dumai Port and to determine the factors that hinder the handling of PKE loading. This study uses data collection techniques that use data through observation, interviews and documentation while the results of this study use descriptive qualitative data analysis techniques. PKE loading handling on MV. Vianca at Dumai Port is carried out using a conveyor loading tool that can increase efficiency and productivity in the PKE loading handling process. Factors that hinder the handling of PKE on MV. Vianca at Dumai Port are, conveyor jams, limited labor, bad weather, and errors in loading equipment settings.
