The purpose of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of the I-BOSS application in accelerating the process of ship loading and unloading permits agented by PT. Div Samudera Abadi Batam. To implement the I-BOSS application in ship loading and unloading permits at PT. Div Samudera Abadi Batam. As well as how to find out the skills and awareness of each user in the ship loading and unloading permit process. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach method using observation, documentation and interview techniques. This study was conducted for 2 months from March to June. The results of the study indicate that the I-BOSS application is proven effective in accelerating the process of ship loading and unloading permits. The process that previously required 1 day with a manual system can now be completed in just a matter of hours through the I-BOSS system. The use of this application also increases administrative efficiency, reduces the use of physical documents, and supports transparency in the permit process. In addition, user skills and understanding improve along with the use of the application, although initially there were adaptation obstacles. These findings form the basis for recommendations for improving human resource competencies and optimizing the digitalization of permits in a sustainable manner in the Batam port area.
