PENGARUH FASILITAS TERHADAP KEPUTUSAN MAHASISWA DALAM MENYEWA RUMAH KOST (STUDI KASUS POLITEKNIK NEGERI BENGKALIS)

This research uses a quantitative approach with an associative method that aims to analyze the influence of facilities on Student Decisions in renting boarding houses. The sampling technique uses the Nonprobability Sampling technique by distributing questionnaires to 100 Bengkalis State Polytechnic Students who are renting boarding houses using the snowball sampling technique. The correlation coefficient is positive and in the same direction of 0.781. The simple linear regression equation that is positive is at Y = 5.529 + 1.545X and the coefficient of determination (KD) shows a figure of 0.610 which means that facilities influence consumer decisions by 61%. The results of the T test show a calculated t value of 12.393 which is greater than the t table of 1.984 which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. This states that the facility variable influences consumer decisions. While 39% can be influenced by factors such as suitability to financial capabilities, whether the location of the boarding house to be chosen is easy to reach or not, whether the boarding house suits your wishes, and the comfort of the boarding house as a place to live.
